At the heart of our mark is a globe – a symbol of connection, movement, and scale.
Industrial real estate rarely draws attention to itself, yet it underpins nearly everything around us. Goods don’t appear on shelves by chance. They move through ports, rail networks, and highways, flowing through industrial facilities that support and enable that movement.
The globe represents logistics as a global system – and Stotan’s role within it.
Stotan, Embedded
Integrated into the globe is a clear but subtle “S”, representing Stotan. The letter is not placed on top of the globe. It’s built into it. That choice was intentional. We are part of the logistics system, not outside of it.
Honoring Chicago
Stotan was founded in Chicago, one of the most important logistics hubs in the world and a city defined by industrial innovation, transportation networks, and architectural ambition.
The logo draws inspiration from Chicago’s Art Deco legacy and the 1933–34 Century of Progress World’s Fair, which celebrated industry, technology, and forward thinking. The strong geometry, symmetry, and confidence of the mark echo that era – when Chicago positioned itself as a city shaping the future.
This influence grounds our brand in history while reinforcing our forward-looking mindset.
Lines with Purpose
The geometry of the mark is balanced and exact, drawing from the precision of engineering drawings, site plans, and technical documentation. The lines are not decorative. They are measured and deliberate, reflecting the level of rigor required to plan and execute industrial projects.
